Inauguration of American Eurocopter’s Mississippi facility
The American Eurocopter subsidiary of EADS North America will formally inaugurate its new Columbus, Mississippi facility on Wednesday, October 20 at 11:00 a.m. This represents the company’s first expansion in North America for marketing and sales, final assembly and special modification, logistics, technical support, training, maintenance and repair of Eurocopter helicopters in the United States.
Joining EADS executives at the celebration and aircraft flyby and demo will be local business and community leaders, as well as Governor Haley Barbour, and U.S. Congressional Representatives Roger Wicker and Chip Pickering.
