Thomas Enterprises buys an EC 155 from American Eurocopter to support the real estate company’s U.S. business development

Grand Prairie, Texas; Las Vegas, Nevada, October  14, 2004

American Eurocopter – a subsidiary of Eurocopter, the largest manufacturer of commercial helicopters in the world – has delivered an EC 155 to Thomas Enterprises.

This is the first Eurocopter product the real estate development company has added to its growing aircraft fleet.

“We started looking at other aircraft, but we felt the EC 155 could perform our immediate missions like showing property to tenants and performing charitable work, as well as carrying out some of the longer trips we were contemplating,” said owner Stan Thomas.

With offices in San Diego, Austin, Atlanta and Orlando, the twin-engine helicopter will serve his company well, stated Thomas. “This helicopter has all the ‘bells and whistles’ and features a wide, roomy cabin that can accommodate up to 12 passengers and two pilots. The EC 155 came standard with everything; it’s a very nice helicopter and we’re very happy with it,” he added.

Thomas Enterprises took delivery of the EC 155 last week, becoming American Eurocopter’s latest corporate customer. American Eurocopter provides helicopters for missions of newsgathering, law enforcement, tourism, offshore, utility and medical sectors. American Eurocopter markets, sells and supports the broadest range of civil and para-public helicopters offered by any manufacturer. The product line represents the most cost-effective, technologically advanced helicopters, ranging from light single to heavy twin, serving all markets and missions.
